I found it pleasant enough to listen to at first but it eventually got too long (hour long album) and repetitive (similar auto tune/pitch correction throughout). I feel like the album needed to be shorter and have more diversity. None of the features stood out for me and I don't feel like I need to hear it again. Some of the lyrics were pure garbage as well.
It was pretty catchy and I enjoyed it throughout, but I didn't love it. I feel like this band might've been interesting like 10 years ago, I feel like nothing really stood out for it being an album in 2017. I could definitely see myself getting sick of the singer's voice very quickly, but it was fine on first listen. I might listen to it again at some point. The first half definitely felt strong than the second half.
Not really my style, but it's ait. I feel like I might like it more if I listen to it more though.
The beats on this album are so good and the chemistry between the two of them is great
Expected it to be worse, wasn't awful. I think the length was perfect for the content. If it was longer I would have been planning my suicide.
Really cozy indie-non-edgy-emoish-acoustic rock. Great stuff if you're in the right mood.
I enjoyed this album, I feel it's more experimental than art angels but it's still quirky and catchy. Oblivion is my favourite song by grimes, but I enjoy art angels more overall. I feel like this album has more interesting beats if you take away the vocals.
The last song was fucking dreadful and felt a lot longer than 2 minutes
The debut album of an aquaintance's band. Some cozy but fairly interesting folk(?) rock. It's not 100% my kind of music, but I like it a lot for what it is.
I enjoyed all of the album, except "Tonight". Really didn't care for that track
the closest artist I can think to clipping. is Danny Brown. If you like him, you will like clipping.
The OG invetors of Crabcore, afaik. AKA shit.
Rly liked it, gonna listen to more from this band for sure.
A bit unsure about this one. Really liked some songs, thought others were just alright. Overall solid, but not something I would casually listen to again; a strong 6 or a weak 7.
This was a really nice album, although it was really long (2+ hrs), and fairly hard to find a decent copy to listen to. I would recommend giving it a listen.
Really interesting but chill music.
There are a few songs I don't like on this album - pretty much the first few ones. The songs I did like (the majority still) were on the same level as the other album.
Listened to this like 4 times in a row because I liked it a lot and didn't orka finding anything else to put on :)
Good post-hardcore/emo/whatever you want to call. The acoustic guitar throughout adds a nice extra layer to their sound. Music for your imaginary teenage years in an american high school.
