I thoroughly enjoyed this album, I can imagine it being amazing in a live setting. It's an awesome blend of math rock, post rock and jazz. It's a progressive, experimental piece of music that doesn't fall into the trap of being pretentious. It has a very futuristic vibe to it, much in the same way that Quadrupede do. If i was to summarise this it can be described as space rock, it really does feel like it should be the background to a great space adventure. This album really grabbed my attention, one of the best things released this year so far, for me personally. If you don't want to commit to the whole album, check out Surrogate Head. It's insane to think this music is coming from just three guys from Brighton.
