Some of the songs are really good, some are less so. Overall a strong 3.
Really amazingly beautiful acoustic fingerstyle guitar pieces. This guy has a lot of albums that I listened through, but a lot of songs were featured on several albums, so I just picked this on as it contained most of my favorites. Check it out if you're looking for something pretty to chill to.
Not really my style, but it's ait. I feel like I might like it more if I listen to it more though.
Generally nice, but a bit too emo for me.
Like all self titled albums,
Not my style, but it's pretty chill and alright at what it is.
The OG invetors of Crabcore, afaik. AKA shit.
The debut album of an aquaintance's band. Some cozy but fairly interesting folk(?) rock. It's not 100% my kind of music, but I like it a lot for what it is.
Really love some of the songs, others not as much. Overall a solid album.
Post/Doom Metal. Surprised I enjoyed it to the extent I did.
Real fly chill rap
It's good still, I really like some aspects of it. Not as good as the first two though, imo.
No Bamboozle. Okay for real though, I legit enjoyed it. It was just funny to me as a concept, and the songs weren't not good.
It's not really that bad. Prefer it over Nickelback. At least it's an experience.
Not the strongest blue, but yeah it was nice! Didn't mind most of the singing.
Update: I've been listening to a few songs of this album a lot lately, a long time after the rating. So I'm keeping it an 8.
Short album that contains one of my very favorite songs at the moment. Nice guitarry stuff. About half the album is a 7, other half an 8, but I'm leaning towards 7.
Chill, sort of upbeat indie rock. Some songs I love, some are alright. Fav song is Painter in Your Pocket.
This wasn't really up my alley. Some parts of some of the songs were really good, but overall those parts/songs didn't weigh up the rest of the album. It's interesting for sure, but not in a way that I appreciate listening to.
Not what I expected from this band. More electronic-y. Still very nice.
Taiwanese Math Rock, rly good
A bit unsure about this one. Really liked some songs, thought others were just alright. Overall solid, but not something I would casually listen to again; a strong 6 or a weak 7.
Listened to this like 4 times in a row because I liked it a lot and didn't orka finding anything else to put on :)
Cill and really easy to listen to, but not that interesting at all.
Pretty much like the last album I r8'd. Higher highs and lower lows.
Curious what other less biased people would think, if anyone fancies giving it a listen.
Have heard a few songs by these guys. Never really liked the singer, I got used to it listening through the whole album. Pretty chill, all in all.
Strong three. Listened to it twice, and it does grow on you. I feel like off-pop is a good way to describe it; it's poppy sounding but they're not trying to be all mainstream, it's more daring. Good stuff, but still not really the type of music I'm into.
That cute boi from One Direction's first solo album I guess. People said it was good, and it's not bad. Run of the mill mellowish rock, nothing special, but it's listen-to-able.
Mellow piano focused post rock. Pretty boring tbh, but I suppose that's the point.
Liked some songs and some beats, some lyrics were lit af, but many of the songs were just political ranting, smh.
Pretty meh. It's alright, but not good. Some songs are ait, and nothing is too bad, but the album is just too long and boring. Also I can't get over the fact that this is Jaden, it takes me out of it.
Don't really dislike it but it's pretty uninspired and 'meh'.
????Actually pretty lit????
Still good, but I enjoyed the two first albums quite a bit more.
I didn't want to like it as much as I do.
Finally, a Kanye album I really didn't enjoy and won't listen to again.
Enjoyed this album more than the previous one, but not by a lot.
A weak three. Better than the previous two, but not that good.
Better than Jaden
I really don't like his style of singing, and there wasn't much weighing up for it. This was a struggle to get through.
This one was better imo. More interesting instrumentally, and the singing wasn't as bad.
Post-prog rock. I fucks with this shit.
Disliked the band back in the day, but have always appreciated their meme-ness. Thought I'd hate listening to it now too (come on, emo rap metal...), but it was actually quite enjoyable.
Chill as shit
Real chill and dope
Also real chill and dope, but not quite as chill and dope
Really fly just acoustic guitar stuff.
More folk rocky and he sings. smh my head
I went into this with prejudice from the name alone, thought it would be just cookie cutter emo shit. But it was actually really pleasant and interesting to listen to.
Quite pleasant to listen to, but not something I'd seek out more of.
Even though I do love some of the songs a lot, I couldn't enjoy this album experience too much. Way too many useless interludes and random bits taking up way too much time. Would not listen to the album(s) again, but I will keep listening to the songs I like from it.
I guess I have to accept I only love their hits, and think the rest of their stuff is just ait
Really cozy indie-non-edgy-emoish-acoustic rock. Great stuff if you're in the right mood.
Like the hit songs, rest is okay
Decent, not bad
Long ass 2 ass hour ass album. Music is good, but the album loses points for being so long and repetitive.
Pretty cloven on this one. The instrumentals are great, sometimes amazing. However, they often get overshadowed by annoying, overly political and on the nose vocals. Give them a listen, Dominic, you'd fucking hate it. Would definitely recommend and listen to more if they could just shut the fuck up, but as it is, I can't give it more than a weak 3. Too annoying to listen to.
Rly liked it, gonna listen to more from this band for sure.
22 minute new EP of great, heavyish post-rock. A band from my home town, pls support. I see one of the dudes at uni all the time :joy: :joy: :joy:
Fairly varied but cool throughout the album. Psych-Rock/indie/alt, apparently. Also apparently, Steve (the mom) from Stranger Things is the drummer in the band. Will definitely check out more of their stuff.
Acoustic guitar with cute girl vocals, if you're into that.
Really chill and groovy indie rock. A lot of the tracks are total 10/10's. Great if in a mellow mood.
It's easy to listen to; it doesn't take any risks or try to do anything different. Doesn't sound to bad, so it's hard to give it a very low score, but still it's just really mediocre, run of the mill pop. Other than the song 'Foolish', which I found to be somewhat more tolerable than the rest, the whole album is a whole bag of 'meh'. 10/10 would recommend.
Also pretty nice to listen to, but not really my thing.
Classic post-rock album. Not the biggest fan of their style, but the album has a few inarguably great songs on there.
Gr8 album m8, I r8 it 8/8+2, no deb8
Need to listen again and pay more attention for a more accurate rating
Really interesting but chill music.
There are a few songs I don't like on this album - pretty much the first few ones. The songs I did like (the majority still) were on the same level as the other album.
Great album, RIP.
Now this is proper fucking post rock, will definitely listen to again and seek out more of their stuff.
Wot a journey bruv
Very pleasant to listen to. Not too big a fan of the vocals though.
Varied, interesting, good shit.
Good shit rite there :100:
Good shite, definitely will have another listen.
Nice cozy angsty/emo-ish post/indie-ish rock. Great for when in an angsty/emo-ish post/indie-ish mood.
Really chill stuff, and very nice sounding as well. Listened to the album three times because I couldn't be bothered finding something else to listen to; it really melts into the background in a nice way. Not the most interesting album, but it does its thing really well.
Good shit :ok_hand:
Kinda just love the first and last song on the album. Africa is one of the best songs in spanish cuisine, rest is ait.
Decent poppy music.
Chill drum and organ music from the best country. Really nice to listen to in the background of doing other stuff, but it's not that remarkable. Might have to listen to it again and focus more.
This one was reeeeally dope though.
What Lewis said
Alright, but not really my kinda thing.
Good shit. Are the rest of his albums bad shit? His top 0 on spotify is all from this album. Only one way to find out I guess.
Didn't expect much because of the band name but it was really good. Very cozy/chill alt rock.
Just discovered this band, they're right up my alley. Instrumental post rock/math rock 4 piece band. Listened all of their three short (~30 min) albums in a row, can't get enough of them. Highly recommended if you're into these genres.
Really solid stuff. They sound kinda quirky, but in a good way.
Heavier, darker post rock.
Great pop-rock, surprised I haven't heard it before.
